The 2 Day Phlebotomy Training program is unique from other phlebotomy training programs because instead of requiring you to do months of training, we give you all the knowledge and skills you need in just two days!
Unlike other phlebotomy training programs who only have you practice on a phlebotomy training aid, we not only have you practice on a training aid to build up your confidence, but we also provide you with opportunity to do a live stick on a real person.
There's nothing better than having the hands-on training that will boost your confidence and give you the assurance you need to become your best as a Phlebotomist.
Requirements: You must have either a High School Diploma or GED.
Note: If you are looking for a Phlebotomy Training program so you can work as a Phlebotomist in California or Louisiana, this program will not work for you.
Phlebotomy Training Day 1
Day 1 of training is on the Internet only. The online class will consist of lessons and quizzes that you can complete at your own pace.
An email will be sent to you when the online class has opened. The class opens a week before the hands-on classroom training. You'll be able to access the online training course by simply using the username and password you choose when you register.
Note:(There are no exceptions to this rule) The online class must be successfully completed in order to attend the hands-on training in the classroom on Day 2.
Phlebotomy Training Day 2
(Held at a designated training facility)
Note: Class will be held from 9am - 4pm in your training location time zone.
During Day 2 of this training program, we will come together and practice the techniques of drawing blood.
We'll go over the techniques of using a vacutainer system, syringe and winged collection system also know as the "butterfly".
You will first practice drawing blood on a phlebotomy training aid, and when you're comfortable, you will choose a partner in the classroom and practice doing a live stick.
You will receive your certificate of completion that you can print out within a week after the end of the class by email.
