1.Why should I choose Phlebotomy Services?
Phlebotomy Services offers hands-on training provided by experts in the field with over 30 years in the field of Phlebotomy. Phlebotomy Services is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical services by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science P.A.C.E program. We have the knowledge, experience and expertise to fully train you in this profession. In the workshop participants will practice on training aids as well on fellow students.

3. Who is eligible to take the training?
The training is designed for those individuals who desire to increase their awareness and marketability by enhancing their professional growth and furthering their education and career in the medical field by adding the valuable skill, phlebotomy. The training is designed for those who need phlebotomy skills. The suggestive target list provided below is an indication of some people who will benefit from this these workshops and in no way includes all of the people who could benefit from this excellent training.

4. How many programs do you offer currently?
We offer 3 programs: 1) 2 days hands on training 2) Phlebotomy Online Training 3) Private Group Training

Training facilities are posted as we get closer to the class date. Check the website later for updates.
6. Do I need to register for the class?
Yes. Registration is mandatory. In order to host the training in your area registrations are needed. The training Facilities will be added as we get closer to the training date. Check back to get updated facility locations. However, if you want to take the training, you must register and pay for the training to secure a seat. However, if we don't get enough registrations for the class, we do reserve the right to cancel the class and you will receive a full refund unless you decide to schedule for another location or for the next upcoming class in your area, if applicable. Phlebotomy Services reserves to cancel a class for reasons beyond our control. A class may be cancelled for reasons beyond our control such as weather, acts of God, terrorist attacks, heighten terror alerts or travel concerns. You will have the option to receive a full refund or attend the next scheduled class. If you have registered and do not hear from a week before the class, please contact us.
7. What is the cost of the training?
3 day training- $899.00
Phlebotomy online training- $399.00
There are no additional costs.
8. Do you allow Walk-ins?
Registration is mandatory. In order to make a determination that we have enough registrations to host the training, we do require pre-registrations. Walk-ins are not allowed because you would have needed to have completed the online portion of the training before attending the hands-on classroom training.
9. Am I required to pay a late fee after the deadline?
Yes. To register after the deadline, the late fee must be paid. If you register less than three weeks before the start of the online class, a late fee will be added. The late fee is $50.00.
10. What are the methods of payment?
Checks and major credit cards are accepted online. You may also pay by money order through the U.S. mail service. Click on contact us/ about us link for mailing address. We also accept vouchers, grants, military aid, company checks, purchase orders, bank transfer etc.
11. Do you offer financial assistance?
No. We do not offer financial assistance. However you may check with your employer or contact agencies in your area that pay for training or offer vouchers.
12. What if I registered for the class, but need to cancel?
1)You may cancel your registration in writing by mail or email. Cancellation must be requested 3 weeks before the start of the online training. Cancellations requested according to policy will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee. If your payment was made with a check, a refund will not be issued until the check has cleared the bank. If payment was made with credit card, your refund will be credited to your credit card after clearance. Refunds will be issued in 2 weeks. 2) If cancellation is not requested 3 weeks before the start of the online training, you will not receive a refund. You may attend the next scheduled workshop in your area.
13. What will I receive at the end of class to show proof of training? Will I be a certified Phlebotomist?
You will receive a certificate of completion. We do not provide certification. You may apply for certification from agencies that offer that service after you have received some experience in Phlebotomy. You have to meet their criteria to take the certification test. 14. When will the next workshop be held in my city?
The training dates are listed on the training schedule. Private group training are offered in addition to the scheduled classes.
15. What is the minimum education requirement?
A high school diploma or GED
16. Will I receive my classroom materials in the mail?
No. Your phlebotomy education will be held online. You may take notes while taking the online course. You will need to copy and paste the notes into a word processing program, like "WORD".
17. Can I fail the class?
Online Training - You are required to pass a series of quizzes at 80%.
2 day training - You are required to pass a series of quizzes at 80%.
If you should fail the class, you may retake the training for a discounted price of $399.00. If the online test is not passed, you will not be able to attend the classroom hands on portion of the 2 day class until you have completed the online course.
18. What do I need to bring to class?
You need to bring a photo I.D., paper and a pen to take notes.
19. What should I wear to the workshop?
You may wear appropriate casual clothing or scrubs.
20. Can I get a job as a Phlebotomist?
Phlebotomy services provides continuing education services and a certificate of completion. We do not provide jobs, guarantee jobs, or provide placement into a job. Check your local area for their requirements. You need to do your homework so that you can make an informed decision. Our targeted group is medical professionals.
21. Can I order a duplicate copy of my certificate?
Your certificate will be sent to you as a PDF after completing the 2 day training. Therefore the certificate is available to you on your personal email. We do not send certificates by US Postal Mail.
22. How do I request training for a private group?
Complete the contact form and we will contact you.
23. What will we do on Day 2, in the classroom?
You will practice drawing blood on a training aid and then practice drawing blood on each other.
24. What are the guidelines for Phlebotomy in California or Louisiana?
Check the state's requirements. These guidelines refer to people who wants to work with a title as a Phlebotomist who work in a hospital or lab.We do offer continuing education classes for Phlebotomist that are acceptable in all states including California and Louisiana. Medical professionals such as MA, LVN, EMT, RN, PA, MD, Research, etc. are welcomed to attend our training for Phlebotomy skills. For more details: google "Phlebotomy in California".
